Teacher Appreciation Week

It's teacher appreciation week and I thought April's Paper Pumpkin would be perfect to use. I loved the watercoloring with the cards and it was very easy to use and create.

Here are 2 of the cards I made for my son Jaden's teachers. These were made from April's paper pumpkin kit. Aren't they awesome! They work for male and female teachers.

I used the envelope punchboard to create the bigger cucumber crush envelope. I also used the Special Reason stamp set  for the flowers and embossed them with White embossing powder.

Batty-tizers

I made these adorable Batty-tizers for my booth at the Simple Treasures Boutique last month.  They were a big hit!  Isn't it adorable? I was inspired by Erica Cerwin's sanitizer boxes but made some changes to fit the new Bath & Bodyworks sanitizer bottles.

Wouldn't you like to learn how to make your own.  Just follow the instructions below:

1.  Cut a strip of Basic Black cardstock  2 1/2 by 10 1/2.
2.  Use the Boho Chic embossing folder and run through your Big Shot.

3. Next using your Simply Scored Scoring tool,  Score at 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 6 1/2" and
7 1/2".  Score with bumpy side up.

4. Next use the Large Oval punch and punch after the 1/2" score mark. It's ok to punch a little over the 1/2" score mark.

5. Fold over all score marks.
6. Place Fast Fuse adhesive or Tear and Tape on the 1/2" rectangle. Making a square by folding the first few score marks and adhere it to the box. It should line up where the embossed and non-embossed side paper meet.

7. Place your selected Ribbon or baker's twine through the squared area and tie a bow or knot.
8. Place your Bath & Bodyworks sanitizer in the oval punched area. It should fit pretty snug. If not, add a foam square to the bottom of the bottle and place in the oval punched area.

9. Tuck the front flap inside the ribbon or baker's twine and place large google eyes on. If you don't have any google eyes, you can use punches too. I used the tombow glue to adhere the eyes on.

10. Next use your Extra-Large Oval punch and punch 1 oval in Basic Black cardstock.  You could use the new Black Glimmer paper, but I tried several adhesives and the wings  kept falling off. Using your paper trimmer or paper snips, cut the oval in half.

11. Use the 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" Circle punch and punch a couple of half circles for the wings.

12. Adhere the wings inside the box just opposite of the sanitizer lid.

13. To make the mouth and fangs, you will need the Large oval punch and the Tree Punch.  Use a piece of Whisper White cardstock--like 3"by4" piece and punch an oval in the center.  Then place the Large oval punch over the punched oval hole and make the mouth.  Using the tip of the Tree punch, makes some fangs.

14. Using either the Tombow or new Precision point glue, place glue on the mouth, then add the fangs and adhere to your box.

15. Yay! You did it!  Wasn't that fun! If you need any of the Stampin' Up! Supplies that I have mentioned in my instructions, feel free to click on my shopping button in the top left hand side of my blog page and order your supplies. Happy Crafting!

Death by Chocolate Card and Coffin Candy Box

I am just loving the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog!  I had so much fun creating this card and treat box for our Inking Everything Team Facebook hop!

Isn't this card awesome! I had so much fun using my goodies from the new Stampin Up! holiday catalog: Here's my ingredient list:
Paper: Happy Haunting DSP, Black, Vanilla, and Tangelo Twist Cardstock
Stamp Sets: Sweet Hauntings
Ink: Black Stazon, tangelo twist
acessories, Spider Web doily, neutrals candy dots, Note Tag punch, and Boho Chic embossing folder

The photo on the Right is the inside of the card.  I used very vanilla cardstock and the Happy Haunting stamp set.

This is my Death by Chocolate coffin/tombstone treat box. I was inspired by Sam Donald's( a UK SU! demonstrator) Dome egg box you tube video. Doesn't this dome box make the perfect coffin:) The biggest difference is that I left one of the side tabs out to glue my headstone on and give it support. Here's my ingredient list:
Paper: Happy Haunting DSP, Black Glimmer Paper
Ink: Black Stazon
Stamp Set: Sweet Haunting
Accessories: Envelope Punch Board, Itty bitty accents flower punch, Candy dot brads, Neutrals candy dots, Paper piercing tool and 1/8th circle punch , fast fuse and paper snip scissors.

Here's the link for Double Easter egg Dome box with the envelope punch board.
