Isn’t the little gift bag in the center of the card adorable. I love how it pops up when you open it and if you open it completely it looks exactly like a bag, but can you fold it up completely flat! So cool!
Here are some instructions on making the little gift bag in the middle of the card:
1. Cut a 3 3/4“ x 9 1/2“ strip of twinkle twinkle DSP.
2. place the DSP on the scoreboard in the portrait position and score at half inch and 2 3/4 inch.
3. rotate the paper into a landscape position and score at 2 3/4 ,3 1/4 ,3 3/4 ,7 1/4 ,7 3/4 and 8 1/4.”
4. Burnish the two long scores and then unfold the thinner one and leave the wider one folded over.
5. Burnish the other smaller score lines so they form a W shape
6. Place tear n tape on the inside end of the larger fold and then attach over to the smaller to make the little bag.
7. Next cut 2 pieces of coordinating 1/4" ribbon 4 1/4" long.
8. Attach glue dots to both ends of ribbon and attach to the 2 top insides for handles.
9. Place tear n tape on backside of bag with seam below the 1/2 " score
10. Place inside with the adhesive side on the middle of the inside fold of card.Then add more tear n tape to the bottom 1/2 " of the front side of bag.
11. Fold over left side of card to adhere to the front inside of card.
12. Open card flat and use bone folder if necessary to help the gift bag to stand.
13. Add selected gift card to bag placing it near the front or back side and not the middle. Then fold flat.
